Job Description

Hauptaufgaben

  • Recherchieren, beschaffen und berechnen Sie räumliche Marktdaten in unterschiedlicher Auflösung bis hin zu Straßenabschnitten oder Rasterzellen, national und international, unter Verwendung von R und GIS-Software

  • Analyse und Interpretation von räumlichen Daten, unternehmensspezifischen Daten und statistischen Ergebnisse und Ableitung der notwendigen Schlussfolgerungen für den Kunden sowie Aufbereitung in Berichten und Präsentation

  • Führen Sie Projekte mit raum- und standortbezogenen Fragestellungen gemeinsam mit Kunden durch und präsentieren die Ergebnisse

  • Wartung und Weiterentwicklung unserer internen Tools zur Automatisierung in R

  • Erarbeiten Sie zusammen mit unserem Vertrieb Angebote, Präsentation und unterstützen Sie den Vertrieb mit inhaltlichem Support und Erklärung der Methodik beim Kunden

  • Wirken Sie aktiv in agilen und interdisziplinären Expertenteams mit an der Weiterentwicklung unserer methodischen Kompetenzen und unseres Produkt- und Serviceportfolios

Anforderungsprofil

  • Universitätsabschluss (MSc) in im Bereich Sozial- oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Geographie, o.ä. (vorzugsweise mit Schwerpunkt auf Regionalwissenschaften/Wirtschaftsgeographie/Raumplanung oder Datenanalyse)

  • Erste Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Geomarketing, im Handel oder in der Datenanalyse wünschenswert

  • Kenntnisse in R (must-have)

  • Anwenderkenntnisse in der Geodatenverarbeitung und -analyse in GI-Systemen (z.B. ArcGIS, QGIS, R - sf)

  • Begeisterung für standortbezogene Themen, idealerweise Erfahrung in Geomarketing Analysen und Standortforschung

  • Reisebereitschaft (europaweit)

  • Ausgezeichnetes Ausdrucksvermögen, schriftlich wie mündlich, Beratungserfahrung ist ein Plus

  • Fähigkeit, Analysen und statistische Ergebnisse zu reflektieren, zu interpretieren und zu präsentieren

  • Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit

  • Sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch, weitere Sprachkenntnisse sind wünschenswert

Main tasks

  • Research, obtain and calculate spatial market data in various resolutions up to street sections or grid cells, nationally and internationally, using R and GIS software

  • Analysis and interpretation of spatial data, company-specific data and statistical results and derivation of the necessary conclusions for the customers as well as preparation in reports and presentation

  • Carry out projects with spatial and location-related issues together with customers and present the results

  • Maintenance and further development of our internal automation tools in R -Work together with our sales offers, presentation and support the sales with content support and explanation of the methodology at the customer

  • Actively work in agile and interdisciplinary teams of experts with the further development of our methodological skills and our product and service portfolios

Requirements

  • University degree (MSc) in the fields of social sciences or economics, geography, etc. (preferably with a focus on regional sciences / economic geography / spatial planning or data analysis)

  • First professional experience in the fields of Geomarketing, in trade or in data analysis desirable

  • Knowledge of R (must-have)

  • Applicant knowledge in geodata processing and analysis in GI systems (eg ArcGIS, QGIS, R - sf)

  • Enthusiasm for location-related topics, ideally experience in geomarketing analysis and location research

  • Travel willingness (Europe-wide)

  • Excellent expressive ability, written as well as oral, counseling experience is a plus

  • Ability to reflect, interpret and present statistical results and statistical results

  • Prominent team ability

  • Very good language skills in German and English, further language skills are desirable
