Job Description

The Global Communications & Public Affairs team is responsible for global internal and external communications at GfK. We are now looking for a passionate and motivated working student.

You're mainly responsible for the following tasks:

  • Collaboration in the newsdesk: editorial-like planning and creation of content (videos, texts, audio) for the channels of internal as well as for external communication
  • Editing and translating texts (English/German)
  • Support for larger video productions and event management
  • Answering requests from journalists and colleagues
  • General administrative activities and team support
  • Maintaining the relevant channels via CMS, participating in the further development of these channels

Ideally you bring the following skill-set:

  • Studies, e.g. communication sciences or journalism
  • Fluent English required (ideal native speaker)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and/or graphics and video editing programs is a big plus
  • Knowledge and comfort of social media, enthusiasm for new methods (agile) and (technology-based) tools
  • Quick receptivity and high willingness to learn
