Job Description

Mission of the role:

The Regional Talent Acquisition Manager will be leading the European Recruitment Shared Service Center (SSC) of GfK, based in Sofia. Together with the Regional Resource Managers, you will be accountable for the recruitment process within the GfK’s network of countries in Europe including Bulgaria.

You will be in close cooperation with internal stakeholders (Hiring Managers), HR Business Partners, the other members of the European Recruitment team to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process.


As a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, you will have the following key accountabilities:

  • Building and executing the talent acquisition strategy taking into consideration local markets’ specifics and business needs
  • Leading a team of recruiters & active sourcers by setting and monitoring targets, KPA and SLAs
  • Mentoring and developing the dedicated team members as well as building trust and high level of team spirit
  • Building strong relationship with the internal stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Cooperating effectively with the other European Resource Managers for both tech and non-tech areas as well as with the local HR representatives
  • Establishing strong partnership with local and global recruitment agencies or recruitment related vendors
  • Executing operational recruitment and supporting the other team members on each step of the recruitment process when it is needed
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Participating in local or global employer branding initiatives together with the Global Marketing and Communications team
  • Following all European and local countries requirements in terms of GDPR, diversity and equal rights best practices
  • Leading or participating in regional/global talent acquisition projects and initiatives

Now that you know what a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruitment and selection, covering end-to-end recruitment cycle
  • 2 years of managerial experience preferably in IT or BPO sectors
  • Leading a Recruitment SSC is considered as a strong advantage
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Fluency in both English and Bulgarian
  • Excellent MS Office skills, Workday knowledge beneficial
  • University degree
