Job Description

GfK Marketing and Consumer Intelligence (M&CI) is currently seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Qualitative researcher to oversee the entire Qualitative business. The Lead Qualitative Market Researcher will be responsible for Qualitative projects and driving new business opportunities across our Northern, Central and Eastern Europe region. The Lead Qualitative Market Researcher will manage the entire region which covers two larger markets (Germany and UK) and other important markets such as Russia, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordics. Reporting to our Head of Marketing & Consumer Intelligence UK also based in London, the Lead Qualitative Market Researcher will be focused predominantly on enhancing our Quantitative research offering but would also own Qualitative only projects for strategic clients.

You're good at:

  • Overall P&L responsibility for a marketing or data insight business across numerous markets

  • Qualitative project setup to delivery by managing GfK-external resources

  • Developing, analysing, and delivering insightful Qualitative reports & presentations

  • Client relationship building, from acting as first point of contact on day-to-day client comms to developing ongoing relationships with clients

  • Deepen existing client relationships to produce incremental business

  • Consulting with clients on business issues and with internal teams on research design

  • Identify growth opportunities with internal sales colleagues

  • Developing compelling proposals with creative Qualitative solutions to client problems.

  • Developing a Qualitative offering based on evolving methodologies including neuroscience and big data

  • Directing research teams during project execution

  • Applying psychology and consumer neuroscience to research projects

  • Thought-leader in this space (writing blog posts, articles, webinars, and conference papers)

You can bring:

  • Experienced and creative in integrating Qualitative and Quantitative research as a concept (proposal stage) and based on insights (delivery/reporting stage)

  • You have a proven track record in DigiQual and be extremely digital knowledgeable in general

  • Demonstrable thought leadership in Qualitative research
