The HR Manager will manage the HR function in Bulgaria in line with regional and global people strategy, guidelines, systems and processes. The HR Manager will act as a trusted Business Partner to all local, regional and global stakeholders hosting functions in Bulgaria with the aim to support the sustaining and high performing organization.
As an HR Manager, you will have the following key accountabilities:
Business partnering & strategic HR management in all relevant HR areas in alignment with global guidelines local requirements and legislation
Responsible for the local excellence in all HR processes from the employee lifecycle
Implement and execute the local HR strategy derived from regional / global strategy
Advise management on all people management related topics, as well as providing data driven justified input for decision making by business leaders
Support, inspire and challenge management as well as employees in all HR related topics & key HR activities with a continuous focus on business and employee development
Oversee and manage the implementation and execution of GfK’s core HR processes, tools and systems in country
Ensure compliance of all HR processes according to GfK policies and local legislation
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending HR policies and procedures that serve the business needs and comply local legislation requirements
Provide guidance and input on Organizational Development related issues such as restructures and reorganizations, workforce planning, team efficiencies, succession planning, and talent pool
Provide counseling on performance management issues, career development, conflict management and change management processes required due to the business strategy
Lead and guarantee consistent internal communication regarding employee matters
Actively contribute in GfK’s international HR network (local, regional, global)
Coach and develop direct reports and grow the capability of the HR team
Now that you know what an HR Manager does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?
Minimum 5 years relevant HR management experience in a highly dynamic international environment
Extensive knowledge of all key Human Resource disciplines: recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefit, employees’ engagement, employment practices, internal communication
Deep knowledge of the local employment legislation and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with all levels of the organization
Strategic thinking with ability to translate business strategy into function’s in a matrix environment
Ability to lead and manage change
Strong drive to get things done (proactively)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting priorities, projects and assignments
Relevant education and/or HR qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fluency in Business English
