Business Development Manager – Norden - København

Vi søger en Business Development Manager til vores Consumer Panel team i Norden, som vil få ansvaret for at etablere og udvikle kunderelationer på tværs af Danmark og Sverige.

Ansvarsområde & opgaver

  • Forretningsudvikling – lead generation og markedsføring:
    • Arbejder sammen med de kommercielle teams for tydeligt at identificere nye forretningsmuligheder hos potentielle kunder.
    • Løfter GfK kendskabsgraden blandt potentielle nye kunder gennem marketingaktiviteter med målet at drive ny forretningsudvikling.
    • Understøtter og driver proaktivt salgsaktiviteter, der bidrager til at facilitere og åbne potentialer.
    • Samarbejder med forretningsfunktionen om at identificere potentialer for at sikre en robust salgspipeline
  • Kundeansvar
    • Sikrer løbende forståelse for kundens krav, tendenser, risici, muligheder og tilfredshed.
    • Sikrer, at input fra kunden deles med resten af ​​teamet.
    • Samarbejder krydsfunktionelt for at sikre succesfuldt salg.
  • Aktivering af salgsstrategi
    • Deltager i face-to-face kundemøder for at sikre, at salgspitch og -proces er i tråd med GfKs strategiske vision
    • Samarbejder med dine kommercielle, marketing- og produktkolleger om at definere både den aktuelle og fremtidige salgsstrategi, der passer til kundebasen.

Krav

  • +5 års relevant salgserfaring
  • Kendskab til det danske eller svenske marked påkrævet
  • Tidligere erfaring med nysalg indenfor B2B, SaaS, Consulting, FMCG/CPG, Research eller Dataløsninger
  • Analytiske evner og evne til at arbejde med finansielle KPI'er/data

Denne stilling har base på vores kontor i København med en hybrid arbejdsmodel (50% på kontoret). Moderat rejseaktivitet må forventes til kunder i Danmark og lejlighedsvis kunder i Sverige.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Consumer Panel team in the Nordics, responsible for establishing and developing client relationships across Denmark and Sweden.

As a client-centric partner, understanding your clients’ needs will be the core of what you do. Sometimes you will need to venture ahead but always at the side of your clients.

The role offers an exciting mix of sales, analytics, client sparring and professional advising. It would require experience from similar tasks in the past, but don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know it all the first day. Instead, we expect you to join our team with an open mind and an eager to learn more.

Remit & Tasks

  • Business Development – lead creation & marketing:
    • Works with the Commercial Teams to clearly identify new business opportunities with potential clients.
    • Grows GfK awareness among potential new clients through marketing activities to drive new business development.
    • Supports and pro-actively enables sales activities, help to facilitate or open opportunities.
    • Works in conjunction within the Business function to identify opportunities to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
  • Account Management:
    • Maintains understanding of customer’s requirements, trends, risks, opportunities and satisfaction.
    • Secures that client voice is shared within the rest of teams.
    • Collaborates x-functional to ensure successful sales.
  • Sales Strategy enablement:
    • Participates in face-to-face client meetings, to ensure sales pitches and sales process is aligned with GfK’s strategic vision
    • Collaborates with commercial, marketing and product colleagues to define current and future solution sales strategy as appropriate for client base.

Requirements

  • +5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Knowledge of the Danish or Swedish market required
  • Previous experience in new business sales within B2B, SaaS, Consulting, FMCG/CPG, Research or Data solutions
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with financial KPIs/data
  • “Getting things done” attitude
  • High resilience
  • Team player with ability to work with minimal guidance to adapt to changing priorities in fast paced "can do" environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and network
  • Strong selling skills required to identify, engage and close opportunities
  • Strong understanding of client business issues of various functions at the client and how to support clients
  • Experience in an international matrix organization
  • Fluent in English; Danish and/or Swedish language skills an advantage
  • Good presentation skills

This vacancy is based in our Copenhagen office with a hybrid working model (50% in office). A successful candidate is expected to undertake moderate travel to clients in Denmark and occasionally clients in Sweden.
