Map of the Month: Retail turnover growth rate, Europe 2022

GfK’s Map of the Month for July shows the retail turnover growth rate in 31 European countries in 2022.

Across the EU, retail turnover increased by a total of 6.5 percent in 2022. The highest growth rates were in Eastern Europe, led by Slovakia with a plus of 23.2 percent. In Sweden, on the other hand, turnover actually fell by 0.7 percent.
