German Digital Radio Market continues to grow

Digital Radio currently represents one of the growth drivers in the German audio market. Since the start of DAB+ in 2011, the German Digital Radio market has been growing steadily.

In 2015, 952,000 Digital Radios* were sold which is 32 percent more than in the previous year. This means that in 2015, 13 percent of all sold radios in Germany were equipped with a Digital Radio chip.

*Product groups included: Audio home systems, tuners, receivers, clock radios, portable radios, radio boomboxes, car audio (aftermarket)
