Job Description

This role is a trusted resource to HR & the business and serves as the face of HR Solutions supporting/enabling business priorities leveraging Workday Absence and Time.

  • Experience in Reporting (Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports) mainly on HCM /Absence and Time Tracking reporting. Capable at building complex calculated fields and custom reports.

  • Experience in HCM/Absence and Time Tracking related Dashboards and Discovery Boards and Reporting oriented visual creation based on client requirements.

  • Experience in working Critical incidents on Absence and Time Tracking and its related concepts.

  • Experience in resolving HCM/Absence and Time Tracking Issues, by analyzing and creating the calculation logics as per the business need.

  • Experience on HCM related topics for support incidents, good understanding in Time & Absence and its configuration, hire to Retire Business Process, supervisory organization and related module setups.

  • Participate in getting the Requirement gatherings for a new enhancement and proposing ideas to enhance the process.

  • Absence and Time Tracking certification is preferred.


  • 3+ years of progressive experience within Workday HCM, specializing in Absence and Time, configuring business processes, building calculated fields, condition rules, etc.

  • Strong analytical mindset and usage of analytics and reporting tools and having excellent presentation skills including creating infographics.

  • Demonstrable hands-on configuration experience in time tracking and ideally also in time off and absence functional areas. This experience should span multiple countries and include at least one country with full time tracking requirements (i.e., clocking in/out, meal vouchers, etc.).

  • Prior business analysis/design experience as relates to time and absence.

  • Familiarity with internal controls and audit requirements along with ability to flex, pivot, adapt, and constantly change alongside NIQ/GfK.

  • Comfort working through ambiguity and shifting requirements to arrive at concrete specifications with optimal end-result. Resilient, collaborative, and solutions oriented.

  • Experience with German time tracking highly desirable.
