Job Description Marketing Manager UK ( NIQ & GfK)

The Marketing Manager UK holds a key position within the EMEA marketing team and spearheads the development and implementation of our marketing strategy and activities across the business in UK, Ireland and the Nordics

Reporting to the Western Europe Marketing Leader and working in close collaboration with marketing, commercial and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and communication activities in line with the defined WE business and marcomm priorities. Supporting key areas of the business as well as for the local implementation of global/regional campaigns, with the geographic focus on UK, Ireland and Nordics.

You’re good at:

  • Own, plan and execute the marketing plan in UK, Ireland and the Nordics according to the regionally relevant solutions by leading the development and execution of client centric marketing programs, including relevant content, digital and social media campaigns and events.
  • Partner closely with the countries` commercial and business leaders, understanding their business goals and objectives to create a marketing plan aligned with the regional business and marketing priorities
  • Collaborate with regional and global marketing and comms teams to jointly create and execute integrated marketing campaigns – content, digital, communication and event.
  • Partner with commercial teams to identify, understand, and collaboratively develop opportunities and tactics to create Marketing Qualified Leads, nurture leads, and drive marketing influenced sales opportunities to underline Marketing ROI
  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA Communications, Digital and Content teams for best-in-class marketing activities and orchestrates activities on a country level.
  • Live a results-oriented culture using and leveraging tools like Hubspot and Salesforce, MSD, Hootsuite and others.
  • Partner with the Sales organisation and support them with content
  • Plan and manage the local marketing budget with focus on ROI aligned with the WE business and marketing plan.

You can bring:

  • 5+ years proven track record creating and managing marketing programs that have demonstrated tangible contribution to business results.
  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related, relevant field.
  • Experience in or with B2B business a must, ideally in Tech, SaaS, Consumer Industry or at a Marketing agency with relevant clients. Understanding of and interest in Insights industry, data and trends is key.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create marketing- relevant content from business input.
  • Excellent understanding of and solid experience in digital marketing and social media. (preferably in a B2B context)
  • Native/excellent command of English is a must.

  • Commercial affinity and data-driven mindset, with focus on the delivery of results in the form of client engagement, leads, Marketing ROI. Ability to adapt actions based on data, keeping a pulse on metrics.
  • Ready and able to flex between strategic view and hands-on execution
  • Strong project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders within an international matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create marketing- relevant content from business input
  • Creative thinker, curious and ready to try new technologies and drive innovation
  • Open-minded and willing to incorporate other people’s point of view.
  • Enjoys working in an international, cross-cultural environment
  • High affinity and experience with digital tools such as MS Office Suite, Wordpress, website metrics and marketing CRM/software tools
