Our Mission

At Consumer Panel Services GfK, our mission is clear: to provide key information on who buys what, where, how much, how often, and most importantly, why (or why not). We take pride in delivering high-quality, uninterrupted data, expert consultancy, and unparalleled expertise to empower our clients to deliver superior customer experiences at every stage of the shopper journey.

Job Description

Our Belgium Consumer Panel Services team manages a panel of 6.000 families. These households continuously register their groceries via our MyScan application on their smartphone. Via the data we collect on these daily purchases, we analyze trends on the Belgian market and report these to our clients (manufacturers, retailers, …)

As Market Analyst you gain insights on the purchase behavior of Belgian families within the FMCG world. These insights are crucial to both producers and retailers to optimize their sales strategies. We research what shoppers pursue in their decision process and how this impacts sales. Are you triggered and want to work together with us in building these strategies? Then don't miss out on this opportunity!

For our offices in Leuven, we are looking for a proactive and motivated researcher that efficiently spots trends in data.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the analyses and reports of your own client portfolio within the FMCG sector.

  • Translate your analytical insights into PowerPoint presentations in a qualitative story telling way.

  • Make sure your clients are being serviced well.

  • Work closely together with your colleagues from the Account Management team.

You have:

  • Obtained your master or bachelor’s degree in an economic field.

  • Analytical thinking and you get delighted when finding out what’s behind the numbers.

  • Experienced FMCG or Retail topics and you work effortlessly in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Native Dutch or French, extra points if you master both! And you combine this with a good knowledge of English.

  • Excellent communication skills and you can express yourself clearly in both speaking and writing.

  • Rely on your team spirit and your can-do mentality to overcome the challenges along the way.

We offer a hybrid working model for our CPS colleagues (normally x2 days p/w in office) and competitive core benefits as well additional benefits including:

  • An adventure full of challenges and the opportunity to further develop your talents and build your career.

  • An exciting work environment that brings people together.

  • A competitive salary package.

  • A young and dynamic team built on passion, relevance, trust and smart solutions.

And much more...!
