Job Description

In Consumer Panel Services, we believe that constant innovation is the key to improving the experience of our panellists while increasing the pertinence and quality of their reported data. To achieve this goal, we have developed a coding framework that automates an increasing part of the coding work for our panellists by enriching shop receipts data.

As an experienced Machine Learning Engineer, you will join our cross-functional team of ML engineers and data scientists to develop new components for our text-matching framework. You will work closely with our SREs and software engineers to integrate our DS/ML components with our data processing pipelines.

You Will:

•    Develop data science and ML components from research to production (NLP) working closely with our stakeholders.
•    Apply coding best practices.
o    Write simple, maintainable code that is well-tested and documented. 
o    Perform code review within the team in a timely and constructive way.
•    Work on efficient CI/CD pipelines to continuously deploy our new features and models.
•    Set up and refine ML pipelines. Define model quality and set up a monitoring and alerting system.
•    Work closely with software engineers and SREs on the technical integration of our components.
•    Help to set standards and develop best practices for the way we do Machine Learning. Foster ML knowledge across the team and the consumer panel organization.
•    Present your achievements to a broader audience, i.e. during agile ceremonie and internal knowledge-sharing events.
•    Support and contribute to cross-team projects and communities of practice.

You Have:

• Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, preferably in NLP and text recognition.
• Significant experience with running ML pipelines in production and model monitoring.
• Experience with Git and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Working experience with most of our tech stack.
• Good verbal communication and writing skills in English.

Preferable (but not essential)

•    Degree in machine learning or other field that reflects strong statistical/mathematical/computer science skills.
•    Experience with working in an agile environment (Scrum, JIRA)
•    Ability to think abstractly and come up with creative and innovative solutions.
•    Constant improvement mindset.
•    Several years of applicable work experience.
