Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The position is a global role, supporting our internal and external Finance Group Reporting and Planning. Advanced technical skills in Excel, VBA macros and Power Query solutions will be required, ideally paired with broader understanding of financial performance analysis. The role ensures quality and consistency of our existing reporting processes and drives further improvements and implementation of changes based on the stakeholders’ requirements.   

You will:

  • Support Corporate Controlling teams and GfK Regions

  • Prepare monthly reports on Executive Leadership Team and Regional level 

  • Ensure technical interfaces with our Group Finance and consolidation systems

  • Strive to improve the transparency of our financial results

  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes

  • Ensure compliance with GfK's financial standards

You have:

  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in at least one of the two areas Accounting or Control

  • Higher economic education with a focus on Accounting, Finance or Financial Control

  • Affinity to systems and technical Finance solutions, data analysis and data visualization

  • MS Office with advanced skills in Excel (VBA macros, Power Query) and ideally Power BI

  • Knowledge of ERP

  • Very good command of English - written and spoken

  • Proactive attitude

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Time management and prioritization

  • Communication skills

  • Cooperativeness and teamwork skills
