Job Description

We are looking for a strong Account Manager for the Dutch CMI team.

In our Consumer Insights and Marketing Effectiveness practise (in short CMI), we help our clients realize their goals in mature and emerging markets by giving them a better understanding of consumers at every stage of the journey.  From the realization of a need through to the moment of purchase, followed by how they live with and use products/services. With our insights, we help our clients make fact based decisions and optimise their marketing activities. We deliver top notch brand and campaign tracking, consumer targeting, segmentation and trendreports in order to make better business decisions across the product lifecycle.

As a Senior CMI Account Manager, you will help us grow our CMI business. You will have a dynamic and diverse role, working on account and business development. You will have your own set of clients and branches to work with, which could be specifically Tech and Durables or a diverse portfolio of clients and branches. You will work on this independently as well as in close collaboration with the other account managers (3) and the broader CMI Solutions and OPS teams, who take care of project delivery with you. You will be responsible for your own clients and will report to the CMI Lead NL.  

You will...

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for Customer Intelligence and Marketing Effectiveness activities

  • Nurture and expand existing customer relationships; identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. 

  • Create of proposals for our clients, pitch for our agency/ team/best in class solutions

  • Maximise of customer satisfaction and retention by providing personalized support and proactive account management. 

  • Collaborate with customer success teams to drive revenue growth from existing accounts & manage renewals.

  • Research market trends, analyze customer needs and identify potential new client relationships and potential white space opportunities (industries/accounts

  • Expand the company's market presence, establish new client relationships and generate new revenue streams.

You have...

  • Passion for data driven marketing in the broadest sense of the word, preferably a bachelors or master degree in a relevant domain

  • Ability to speak and write at least English and Dutch fluently

  • At least 5 years’ experience in or with quantitative market research; you know and understand the type of solutions we create and ‘how it’s done’

  • Ability to connect and ask all the right questions, proven sales capabilities

  • Enthusiasm and drive to make things happen, focus on results and to continuously raise the bar
