Job Description
You will:
- Run accounting books, perform monthly and yearly closing – AR, AP and GL, FA
- Participate in the preparation of management report with variance analysis and audit schedule
- Be responsible for preparation of tax reporting – corporate income tax, VAT, local CIT
- Manage the closings of the Polish entities e. g. pursuant to US GAAP and Polish statutory requirements in close cooperation with the BPO / SSC
- Prepare of Statutory Financial Statement
- Reconciliate of general ledger accounts
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers, government authorities and etc.
- Ensure local compliance and point of contact for SOX and internal control
- Be pro-active in identifying risk areas and recommend for solutions to improve operating effectiveness
- Provide with any other ad-hoc assignment by management
You have:
- At least 3 years working experience on Chief Accountant position in international company
- Deep knowledge of accounting regulations and processes in a company
- Profound knowledge of statutory accounting requirements and knowledge of local taxation
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate in MS Excel, Word, Tagetik, and ERP e.g. SAP is preferable
- Language skill – English (writing and speaking) - daily cooperation with BPO / SSC in India
- Broad experience in cooperation with BPO / SSC would be beneficial
- Eager to learn- fast learner
