GfK appoints James Howitt as Digital Lead

GfK has appointed James Howitt as Digital Lead, UK. With more than a decade’s experience in consumer and media research, James will spearhead the promotion of GfK’s unrivalled digital media research capabilities and solutions.

James has extensive experience of consumer insight and understanding in the changing digital media landscape, both in Europe and the US. Most recently at YouGov, James brings his experience of roles at The Nielsen Company and RR Bowker (ProQuest Inc) to the newly created position.

With an excellent record of client management, business development and project delivery, James is perfectly placed to conquer new and growing sectors for the company, including advertisers, media agencies and technology providers.

He reports to Anthony Norman, Managing Director of GfK’s retail and technology division in the UK, who said: “Making sense of the digital landscape is a clear priority for GfK. As Digital Lead, James will spearhead our efforts in this area to deliver our industry leading solutions that empower clients with the insights they need to stay ahead in the fast-moving digital space.
