GfK’s Auto Syndicated (Automobility) team in North America has tapped industry veteran Jim Ehrlich as SVP and Account Manager, primarily working with West Coast automotive clients.
Ehrlich – who will be based in Los Angeles – brings to GfK 15 years of experience in market research, marketing, digital strategy, and product development in the auto sector. Most recently, he was Director of Research and Market Intelligence at Cox Automotive.
Earlier, Ehrlich held corporate, marketing, product and strategic planning roles at Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Capital America. He has also worked at research firms MORPACE International and Harris Interactive, as well as the US Census Bureau.

Ehrlich is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he earned both BA in Sociology and an MA in Demographic & Social Analysis.
