Job Description

The Data Delivery Expert, Operations plays a crucial role in delivering high quality internal data processing within CPS. The Data Delivery Expert, Operations designs concepts for new data processing methods, customises existing software to best meet project need and strives for continued improvement in their work whilst knowledge sharing and enabling other colleagues in the team. Reporting to our Data Delivery Director also based in Nuremberg and working within a well established, dynamic team, the Data Delivery Expert, Operations will have responsibility for data processing within a key new strategic initiative for the CPS business.

You will...

  • Analyze, improve and execute internal procedures for data processing in our internal data processing environment.

  • Develop custom software solutions for data processing.

  • Design proofs of concept for new data processing methods.

  • Migration of legacy solutions based on a wide range of languages / technologies and procedures to our current internal data processing environment standards.

  • Project management involving a broad range of departments (Operations / Development / IT / Sales).

  • Definition and training of best practices and standards involving the internal data processing environment.

  • Local and international support for internal solutions (Custom Tools, internal data processing environment procedures and software, Confluence/JIRA).

  • Continuous design improvements to existing procedures (dataflows, period closures, custom data delivery).

  • Execution of panel closure processes on internal data processing environment for all DE panel projects.

  • Coordination and execution of purchase data related reworks including analysis and investigation of data incidents.

  • Managing of requests for new requirements and occurring incidents.

  • Monitoring and handling of all dataflows and the DE internal / client projects updates.

You have...

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science.

  • High level of self-reliance and responsibility.

  • Ability to frequently get familiar with different technologies and programming languages.

  • Experience in software development.

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience with Perl, SQL and Bash (essential)

  • Experience with Linux, C#, VBA and Java (preferable)

  • Communication skills in German and English on proficiency level.
