Job Description
GfK won the Global Tracking Program of JTI (Japan Tobacco International) with HQ in Geneve. This program is the biggest tracking program with the GfK’s MCI business with a significant NS but also in term of complexity. An important role within the GfK dedicated team working on this program is the Single Point of Contact located in Geneve, leading the communication between JTI and the GfK teams and servicing JTI HQ.
The core responsibilities of this role are:
Organize/ prepare and conduct weekly jour fixe meetings with JTI
Steer the overall planning of the program regarding country set, # of waves, sample, timing
Main contact for any kind of global topics, analysis, and business questions
Owner of regional/global insights generation
Presenting results to HQ stakeholders of different management levels
Stakeholder management within HQ and the respective countries to reflect any changes of JTI business needs
Acting as interface between JTI HQ, JTI countries and GfK
Owner of quality control and improvement measures
Receiver of any kind of escalations within the project
Coordination of GfK teams involved in the project (CSG, OPS, TECH, MS, HUBS…)
Organize/Prepare the annual feedback meetings and design review (questionnaire, e2e process, reporting deliverables, statistical reviews)
Ideally you bring the following…
University degree, ideally supplemented by MBA
10+ years proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented client facing person who has built strong relationship with wide range of stakeholder within the client’s organization
Be able to demonstrate tangible results in the planning, execution, and management of a large-scale MCI tracking projects
Excellent project management and presentation skills
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage any kind of escalation between the involved stakeholders within the project (HQ, local client subsidiaries, GfK teams, fieldwork supplier)
Deep understanding of and comprehensive experience within the survey-based research business
Comprehensive experience with brand tracking programs in term of methodology and project execution
Statistical knowledge
Very goof English skills
Ideally experience within tobacco industry and/or FMCG industry
