SG-TAM is the official source of television audience measurement in Singapore. Commissioned by IMDA, GfK operates and manages the integrated television audience measurement system, providing the complete audience for traditional television (TV panel), as well as those using fixed and mobile devices (digital panel), to access TV and video content. A representative panel of 1,200 households on the TV panel and 2,000 individuals on the digital panel are selected on special invitations to join the study. SG-TAM went live officially on October 1, 2016, with GfK commencing the provision of TV viewership data to the industry for up to 200 terrestrial and Pay TV channels.
