Smart major domestic appliances are connecting with households globally
Smart connected major domestic appliances (MDA) like washing machines, dishwashers and tumble dryers are winning over Connected Consumers globally.
The smart MDA market more than doubled within 12 months between April 2016 and March 2017. With China accounting for almost two thirds (63%) of sales, it is by far the largest market for smart MDAs. That said, the markets showing the greatest growth between 2015 and 2016 were Germany at +149%, Great Britain (+139%), Italy (+139%) and South Korea (+121%) – followed by China at +114%.
