TerraCycle CEO joins GfK sustainability webinar

As part of GfK's June 24th webinar "Rethinking Sustainability," TerraCycle founder and CEO Tom Szaky will be featured in an exclusive keynote interview. The webinar will also include a thought leader panel discussion with experts from Clorox, Goodyear, and Loftex.

TerraCycle is a global leader in the collection and repurposing of complex waste streams. TerraCycle operates in 20 countries, working with some of the world’s largest brands, retailers and manufacturers to create national platforms to recycle products and packaging that otherwise go to landfill or incineration. It also created a new circular reuse platform called Loop that enables consumers to purchase products in reusable packaging.

The webinar -- which starts at 2PM Eastern time -- will also feature a panel discussion on how brands are responding to sustainability issues and how they can engage consumers on this crucial topic. Panel members are:

  • Karen Chen -- Director of Research & Insights, Clorox
  • Charles Gaenslen -- CEO, Loftex Home (USA)
  • Christian Thompson -- Director of Insights & Category Management, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

The panel will be moderated by Tim Kenyon, VP at GfK Consumer Life and director of the Green Gauge research program.
