Mission of the role:
To further foster our ability to deliver global interfaces for data processing and strengthen our Global Process Implementations (GPI) team within the GfK Consumer Choices division.
As a Junior Global Data in Specialist you will have the following key accountabilities:
Create scripts for data processing using specific internal programming languages and software tools
Provide technical support for those scripts
Actively communicate with our 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support teams located in different locations worldwide
Actively communicate with GfK internal international clients in 100+ countries via ticket (helpdesk) system
Maintain knowledge platform and actively share gained knowledge
Work on diverse working schedule including night shifts and weekends - 24/7
Now that you know what a Junior Global Data In Specialist does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?
University Degree in IT, Informatics or related subject area (or last year student)
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Good analytical skills
Strong English language skills in both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills
Self-driven and proactive personality with willingness to learn
Basic knowledge and/or experience in any object-oriented programming (OOP) language (considered as an advantage)
