Despite Black Friday going up against a strong performance in 2014, GfK Boutique still forecast significant growth for some product areas. One of the major products which will be hot this year is TVs for which sales are forecast to increase by around 20% year on year, similar to the growth seen in 2014. Promotions are expected to be focused on 40”+ TVs. Once again, Black Friday is expected to cannibalize Christmas demand, with demand only growing by low-single digits in Q4.
