Job Description

This position covers all commercial activity in Media Measurement within GfK Portugal. The Commercial Lead, Media Measurement will be responsible for prospecting and developing new clients, building existing client relationships, meeting with clients, developing proposals, managing contracts, and occasionally reviewing deliverables prior to forwarding to the client. Reporting both to our General Manager - Portugal and our Media Measurement Director in Belgium, the successful post holder will be a proactive, self-starter with a research or data background who can drive successful up and cross selling within an existing client base. 

A special focus will be on the TV audience measurement service (TAM) for CAEM, which was recently reconfirmed for the next 5 years.

Key Activities

  • Consulting with CAEM on business issues and research design.

  • Represent and promote GfK TAM products as a knowledge expert.

  • Provide expertise in TAM research project in Portugal to end-users.

  • Deepening existing client relationship - generating incremental business.

  • Developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations,

  • Strategic development of business unit’s products and services,

  • Achieving assigned sales targets, based on annually agreed target agreements


  • Expertise in and passion for Television audience measurement

  • Being familiar with TV industry in general, and the use of TV audience data in Portugal

  • Hands-on experience with Television audience measurement research methods.

  • Strong pitch and proposal writing skills.
