For our global Product & Innovation organisation we are looking for a (Senior) Product Manager (m/f/d) to drive our innovations in the area of our new Consumer facing platform offerings.
You empower your team members to innovate the way we interact with Consumers sharing data with GfK. With your deep understanding of Consumer trends and needs in the new data economy you know what consumers care about, how, why and with whom they share their data assets. You are capable to translate those insights into a product offering from early insight stage iterative testing to full production and constant improvement over the following lifecycle. Over the entire way you ensure value creation for the consumer, a low friction process and highest professional level of user centered design experience.
You will work in a highly skilled product & innovation environment within the company with strong links to technology, science, operations and commercial teams plus external vendors/ partners.
Your main tasks will include:
You are the Consumer's voice on the team and in daily decision for making the right trade-offs in product development on behalf of the consumer using GfK's interfaces
Derive valuable insights from data that consumers understand and see indispensable value in using them on a daily basis
Discover new data sources and to connect the dots between them
Tight interaction/ steering of stakeholders across different disciplines like tech, commercial, operations, science + external vendors
Formulate & present vision, strategy and roadmap for product area, able to prioritize and capable to say "no"
Convert different stakeholder requirements into tangible product improvements
Explore competitor activities, overseas market trends and UX research
- Lead discovery sprints, user journey mappings, prototype inceptions“
Your experience typically includes:
Work in Product Management for at least 5 years
Broad & deep understanding of user research/ design thinking/ MVP concept/ BPM
Excellent presentation and influencing skills, feeling comfortable in front of a top management audience
Excellent & authentic team management or leadership experience
Strong communicator who is able to build excellent rapport
Analytical when it comes to data, creative when it comes to design
Agile mindset and work style
High proficiency in Business English
Experienced user of Confluence/JIRA, AHA, Tableau, Balsamiq, Mockflow, Office365
