End User Services of GfK is responsible for managing and administrating the global corporate identity, email, workplace and collaboration services based on a hybrid model leveraging cloud (Office365, AZURE AD, JAMF PRO, Intune, Microsoft Teams etc.) and on-prem technologies (SCCM, Active Directory, Skype for Business) to GfK’s global workforce.

Mission of the Role
Support the existing team with delivery of the Microsoft Phone System and Teams Direct Routing project
Assist with the roll-out of the new Microsoft Teams based telephony service across the organization
Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according to internal SLAs
As a EUS Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will have the following key accountabilities:
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas for SaaS services (Office 365)
Design, extend and manage the MS Phone System and Teams Direct Routing architecture
Maintain close contact to relevant stakeholders during operative and project related work
Provides high level documentation and guidelines for the general Communication & Collaboration service based on Microsoft Teams
Actively involved in planning and implementation of projects / new designs
Assist team through successful complex projects which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.
Participate in cross-division, multi-functional teams to drive effective collaboration with colleagues and counterparts internally and externally.
Establish reputation as subject matter expert in general EUS technology area
Routinely exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving personal and team objectives
Participate in cross-division, multi-functional teams and be an active contributor to the SAFe Agile practices within the global Infrastructure team
Now that you know what EUS Senior Infrastructure Engineer does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?
3+ years of experience in administrating, troubleshooting and deploying a Skype for Business environment
Excellent skills in administrating Microsoft Skype for Business systems including PSTN access via TDM and SIP trunks via Session Border Controller
Experience with Office 365 cloud integration for Skype for Business and administrating Microsoft Teams cloud-based service on global scale
General understanding of Microsoft systems/technologies and applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Sharepoint, SQL, Windows Server
Experience/participation in implementing and/or migrating to Office 365 - Skype for Business Online
Knowledge in PSTN connectivity via ISDN and SIP Trunks and experienced with SIP troubleshooting
Knowledge in Digital Media Gateways and Session Border Controller (configuration and administration)
Experience with Audio Codes products (SBC’s and Gateways) - Audio Codes Certified Associate is considered a plus
Microsoft MCSE Communication certification is considered a strong plus
Experience with PowerShell scripting is considered a strong plus
Experience with Anywhere365 (UCC) is considered a plus
Experience with Microsoft Teams certified phone deployments such as Polycom (CX/VVX), Yealink etc.
Proficiency in English (at least level B2/C1 in Council of Europe scale)
