Job Description

As a Consultant (m/f/d) Media Measurement, you will have the following key accountabilities:

  • Communication interface to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fernsehforschung (AGF) in methodological questions, especially for the further development and support of the methodological related aspects of our TAM Research Panel
  • Research Consultant for the AGF
  • Conception and ownership of (sub) projects
  • Data analysis - continuous review and optimization of data quality through data checking/maintenance and regular data refresh
  • Supervision and implementation of (partial) projects
  • Presentation of analysis results and concepts directly to clients
  • Contact person for MM OPS and Global MM Product
  • Responsible data preparation for the purpose of clients’ presentations and creation of corresponding chart templates / presentations

You bring along the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in market or media research
  • Good understanding of data science
  • In-depth knowledge of the German media landscape
  • Analytical and logical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very good understanding of all challenges for media research, especially TV research, that arise from digitization
  • Experience in the use of Confluence / JIRA, Office365
  • Fluency in German and English

Considered as an advantage:

  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative, electronic media research, knowledge of the German TAM system
  • Knowledge of online research
  • Knowledge of Python, R, SPSS or other statistical software

Zu Ihren Hauptaufgaben gehören:

  • Kommunikationsschnittstelle zur Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fernsehforschung (AGF) in methodischen Fragen, insbesondere für die Weiterentwicklung und Betreuung der empirisch-methodischen Aspekte unseres TAM-Forschungspanels
  • Research Consultant für die AGF
  • Konzeptionierung von (Teil-)Projekten
  • Data Analysis, u. a. Kontinuierliche Überprüfung und Optimierung der Datenqualität durch Maintenancen / Jahresinjektion
  • Betreuung und Durchführung von (Teil-)Projekten
  • Präsentation von Analyseergebnissen und Konzepten bei Kunden
  • Ansprechpartner für MM OPS und Global MM Product
  • Eigenverantwortliche Datenaufbereitung zum Zwecke von Kundenpräsentationen und Erstellung entsprechender Chartvorlagen / Präsentation für Kunden

Folgende Voraussetzungen bringen Sie mit:

  • Herausragende kommunikative Fähigkeiten
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse der deutschen Medienlandschaft
  • Herausragende Kenntnisse der quantitativen, elektronischen Medienforschung, Kenntnisse des deutschen TAM Systems von Vorteil
  • Kenntnisse der Online Forschung von Vorteil
  • Sehr gutes Verständnis aller Herausforderungen für die Medienforschung, speziell der TVForschung, die sich aus der Digitalisierung ergeben
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Umfeld empirischer Markt- oder Medienforschung, Verständnis für Data Science sowie analytische und logische Denkweise
  • Kenntnisse von Python, R, SPSS oder anderer Statistiksoftware wünschenswert
  • Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Confluence/JIRA, Office365
