Job Description

The Global Communications & Public Affairs team is responsible for global internal and external communications at GfK. We are looking for a passionate and motivated working student, starting on June 1, 2023.

You would be primarily responsible for the following tasks:

  • Collaboration across the daily newsroom tasks: participation in editorial-like planning and creation of content (videos, written texts, audio) for internal and external communication channels
  • Editing and translating texts (English/German)
  • Support for larger video productions and event management
  • Handling and coordination of requests from colleagues and journalists
  • General administrative activities and team support
  • Supporting the maintenance of relevant channels via Content Management Systems (CMS) and participating in the further development of these channels

Ideally you bring the following skill-set:

  • Related studies, e.g. communication sciences, journalism or similar
  • Fluent English required (ideally native speaker)
  • Enthusiasm for writing your own texts
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and/or graphics and video editing programs is an advantage
  • Knowledge and comfort with social media, curiosity for new methods (agile) and (technology-based) tools
  • Quick receptivity and willingness to learn
