Job Description

Focus of the role:

The team to be led consists of 14 people (all in DE), who are essentially responsible for the punctual and high-quality deliveries of the market data of various commodity groups.
The team from AT & CH is also managed from a technical point of view. There are a total of 3 other colleagues based there who have Market Data QC tasks.
We are looking for the competent leader of the team. 


Your main responsibilities as Lead a team of operations professionals as direct line manager (m/f/d):

  • Plan resources/capacity in order to comply with our delivery commitments towards clients

  • Improve delivery speed, quality and standardization of MDQC processes  continuously through proper KPI management and close collaboration with all involved teams

  • Establish a close communication with the Global Service Centers, Market Intelligence & Retail teams

  • Contribute to the overall teams success by being responsible for the timely delivery of a set of Market Data QC Productgroups. 

*Market Data QC is the last quality check stage before retailer data is being sent out to our Industry & Retail clients.

Required skills and professional experiences:

  • Disciplinary and technical management experience 

  • Sound analytical skills

  • Excellent written and oral language skills in German

  • Very good oral and written English skills

  • Strong IT skills in MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel) and DWH-Startrack Explorer

  • Very good technical understanding

  • Sound knowledge of the information technology, office equipment, telecom and distributor markets

  • Thirst for knowledge and strong quality awareness

  • Project management experience desirable

Details zu Rolle und des Teams (German version):
Das zu führende Team besteht aus 14 Personen (alle in DE), die im Wesentlichen für die pünktliche und qualitativ hochwertige Auslieferungen der Markdaten verschiedener Warengruppen zuständig sind.
Fachlich wird zusätzlich das Team aus AT & CH geführt. Dort sind insgesamt 3 weitere Kollegen ansässig, die Market Data QC Aufgaben haben.

Wir betreiben ein Handelspanel (Input: Handelsdaten, Output: Marktübersichten und Erkenntnisse zu Verkaufskennzahlen) und haben regelmäßige, wöchentliche, monatliche und 2-monatliche Lieferverpflichtungen gegenüber unseren Kunden, die wir strikt einhalten müssen.
Die Hauptaufgabe des Teamleiters Market Data QC DACH wird sein das Team disziplinarisch zu führen, mit allen Aufgaben (z.B. Steuerung und Priorisierung der Arbeitsinhalte, die diese Rolle mit sich bringt.
Darüber hinaus wird die fachliche Weiterentwicklung jedes einzelnen, die Optimierung der Arbeitsabläufe und die Zusammenarbeit im Team wie auch mit anderen Teams ein entscheidender Fokus dieser Rolle sein.
Die Leitung verschiedener Optimierungsprojekte (Geschwindigkeit, Qualität, Effizienz) stellt einen weiteren Baustein dieser Rolle dar. 
Dabei müssen nicht nur Anforderungen von globaler Seite umgesetzt sondern bestimmte Fokusthemen auch selbstständig und eigenverantwortlich durchdacht (weiter)entwickelt und umgesetzt werden.
