Consumer Panel Services GfK (CPS) is a growing business with a newly built & developing legal organization with excellent career opportunities.

Purpose of the Role

The Sustainability, Risk & Insurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability initiatives, risk management strategies and insurance programs to safeguard CPS's long-term success and uphold its commitment to environmental responsibility. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, evaluating sustainability performance, assessing and managing risks, and maintaining insurance coverage as well as supports the CPS global management team with related risk consulting.

You will:

  • Prepare and perform risk and process-oriented internal audits based on the annual Internal Audit Plan and execution of special audits and/or involvement in other audits/ projects
  • Create audit reports in English including the coordination and tracking of audit results/recommended improvement measures to ensure timely implementation
  • Undertake continuous improvement and configuration of the GfK Internal Audit approaches, methods and tools (e. g. computer assisted auditing techniques (CAATs))
  • Provide advice to local, regional and global management relating to internal controlling systems, compliance and risk management
  • Proactively collaborate with Compliance, IT, Risk Management and other GfK departments to ensure ongoing identification of risks and the creation of appropriate action plans as well as with other interfaces
  • Own annual planning and organization of IA functions including general organization and administrative tasks
  • Lead the Global Head of Internal Audit in the professional management of the internal audit function
  • Prepare and deliver relevant S,R&I presentations to leadership

You have:

  • A degree in economics with focus on finance, accounting or a related business field.
  • Approximately 4 – 7 years' relevant professional experience in an international working environment in the areas of external/internal audit, risk consulting or enterprise risk management
  • Experience in a relevant industry (e.g. market research, software, SaaS, consulting etc).
  • Desirable: additional qualification as CIA, CPA, CISA or similar
