You will be...
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be implementing new features which are usually new insights, predictions, prescriptive advice and new ways of visualising data for our upcoming flagship analytics product seeking to enable our clients to be able to make confident business decisions by answering their key business questions.
You will be taking accountability for quality and ownership for solving problems end to end no matter what part of the stack the work takes you.
You will rarely be working alone in solitude and will be pair-programming with your teammates to bring together your skills and knowledge to rapidly build high-quality software.
You will be the key person in your team to define what good looks like from a quality perspective.
You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself further and accelerate your career by taking on additional engineering roles at GfK which will enable you to contribute in different ways to a much wider international engineering community.
You have…
A solid understanding of object-oriented programming (JavaScript or Python preferred)
Expert knowledge of test frameworks, automation tools
Hands on experience with continuous integration tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
Experience testing a variety of web services, APIs, web applications and data
Experience in BDD with tools such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, JBehave
Knowledge of version control with GIT and a good understanding of branching and merging
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
