Responsibilities

  • Contribute to setting strategy objectives, goals and KPIs/metrics and supporting the team to achieve / exceed them.

  • Are accountable for a given vendor / partner domain and are able to provide in-depth knowledge to internal stakeholders.

  • Independently drive partner negotiations and collaborate effectively with legal and procurement teams (potentially M&A) to draft terms and conditions, alongside managing expectations of stakeholders

  • You are passionate about data and you have expert knowledge of data-related regulatory and legislatory trends and developments in the industry in major markets, along with the ability to communicate in an English business environment

  • Have great people skills and can motivate/inspire your peers and other team members you work with.

  • Can translate customer needs / product requirements into well-defined data requirements and prioritize against customer value.

  • Manage / deliver multiple initiatives (including any new idea / concepts) through their key milestones to completion

  • Lead and steer vendor / partner engagements with significant contribution towards department goals based on organizational strategy.

  • Are able to take a business idea from inception to production and have delivered successful initiatives that unlock significant business value

  • Determine and own the team's priorities and continuously drive positive results.

  • Identify new opportunities based on innovations in the market.

  • Work towards being internally acknowledged as thought-leader and provide expert knowledge to the business for several relevant partnership domains.

  •  Act as role-model for GfK at external events where required.

  • Can handle conflicting priorities really well, communicate clearly and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence alongside a strong, talented, opinionated team. 

  • Collaborate with VPs/Heads of to understand future demand and direction.

  • Contribute to outreach / stakeholder communication plans, to increase team awareness and engagement

Qualifications

  • •Passionate about data

  • Expert knowledge of data-related regulatory and legislatory trends and developments in the industry in major markets

  • Ability to communicate in an English business environment

  • Significant experience (> 5 years) in market research or related area, process-Management, contract management

Desirable Skills

  • Strong influencer; able to get people on side and built strong relationships

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

  • Strong skills in process and project management

  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

  • Experience of working in different cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure etc) would be an advantage

  • Awareness of Data Governance Frameworks and Data Management is an advantage

  • Good knowledge of modern engineering practise and technology domains would be an advantage
