Job Description

As a Senior Business Executive you will report directly to the Retail Director and expected to own the commercial relationship with the accounts, grow de business and manage data between GfK and Retailers.

As a Senior Business Executive you will have the following key accountabilities:

  • Negotiate data-in from retailers and sell solutions to them

  • Prepare and deliver key presentations adding expertise and insights

  • Deliver accurate data and support client’s inquiries

  • Build strong relationships with key marketplaces, understanding their strategies, structures, and key business questions, and how partnering with GfK can help them

  • Provide consultancy service and identify account needs to generate interest and leads for GfK portfolio, interacting with client’s Commercial, Marketing and BI areas

  • Prepare and conduct sales pitches and close deals with accounts

  • Minimize risk to data partnerships and apply best practices

  • Develop new initiatives and projects with our Retail Partners

  • Record, update and maintain CRM Salesforce data

  • Understand client’s business and their needs to constantly improve customer satisfaction

  • Interact with colleagues internally (operations & commercial) to benefit the sales organization

Now that we've introduced you to the position as a Senior Business Executive, what skills, qualifications and experience should you have?

  • Very strong communications skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or relevant areas

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with retailers

  • Strong knowledge in marketplace business and e-commerce

  • Client-focused

  • Knowledge in durable goods industry (Retailers, Manufactures and Brands) is desirable

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint abilities are required
