Leading the team-of-teams organization for one of Media Measurement's product development areas. You will take on the Release Train Engineer (RTE) role in our implementation of the SAFe methodology. In this capacity you will be the link between product management, system architecture, stakeholders and the teams. Your responsibility entails to help MM keeping momentum in its agile transformation and to continuously improve in its delivery capability. At the same time, you are the guardian of team health and a culture of sustainable development practices, learning and growth.
You will be leading the agile community in Media Measurement and foster knowledge exchange and learning within its group of scrum masters. You will take on the responsibility to coach more junior scrum masters and help them grow in their careers either in a mentorship capacity or as dedicated chapter lead. Engaging with the wider community of agile coaches at GfK, you will support contribute to strengthening the impact and fluency of lean-agile practices in our company.
As an outcome oriented person looking for optimizing the flow of value through the product building organization you have a close eye on unhealthy organizational structures and are consulting the MM leadership team on team compositions and strategic hiring and sourcing plans.
5+ years of experience in applying agile methodology team level (ideally but not necessarily in the software business)
2+ years of experience in applying scaled agile methodology (SAFe) in an organization
Worked together with product management and other business functions to jointly identify units of value and to prioritize between them
Created delivery metrics to help your teams identify areas of improvements in retrospectives
Presented and discussed more burn up/down charts and cumulative flow diagrams than you can remember
A nicely packed toolbox at your disposal to pick methods to engage your team in meaningful retrospective discussions with actionable outcomes, regardless if they are fully remote, distributed or located in one place.
A track record of sucessfully helping others grow and shine, be it as direct manager or in a mentoring/ coaching capacity
