Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management and aggregation of our product(extrapolated data), focusing on sales trends of home appliances.
  • Create and operate reports for clients and panel companies using the above data.
  • Build and operate client services using BI tools (Tableau).
  • Communicate with overseas group companies via project management tools and email regarding the operation of extrapolated data.
  • Note: Each task involves data extraction and analysis using GfK’s proprietary applications.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proficiency in data processing using Microsoft Excel (including graph, pivot, and various functions).
  • Experience in data analysis or statistics (industry not specified).
  • Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to handle email communication in English (TOEIC score of 600 or above preferred).
  • Over 3 years of work experience in a Japanese company.


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience or basic knowledge of using Microsoft Access.
  • Practical experience or basic knowledge in building and operating databases.
  • Practical experience in cleansing, deduplication, and aggregation of survey data.
  • Practical experience in data extraction, processing, and analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, or BI tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience in developing and operating Tableau reports.
  • Knowledge or interest in handling our products, especially home appliances (industry experience preferred).
