Onsite Support Analyst

We are looking for an Onsite Support Analyst to join the Kuala Lumpur’s IT team, providing onsite support to our employees.

You will…

  • Provide friendly and effective customer centric IT support, being the onsite contact for GfK employees seeking technical assistance to resolve issues that can’t be solved by our Global Service Desk
  • Record and track incidents and requests, keeping people updated on status
  • Guide people through the problem-solving process, directing unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Assist with the implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
  • Maintain hardware and software, modifying configurations, utilities, software, etc. as needed
  • Provide a high-level resolution, responding to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc. and implement remote remedies as required
  • Manage stock of computers and accessories, ensuring asset information is reviewed and kept up to date

You have…

  • Experience of providing IT support in a modern and busy office environment to teams >200 people
  • Experience supporting Dell laptops running Windows 10/11 and Apple MacBooks running MacOS Big Sur / Monterey
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Familiarity with managing PCs using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM and/or Intune)
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • General knowledge of IT systems, networks, and processes e.g. ITIL
