Job Description

We are looking for a new member for our Consumer Panel (CP) team in the Nordics - reporting to our Commercial Team Lead, CP also based in Copenhagen. The Market Research Consultant is responsible for a number of local, regional and multinational accounts, ensuring that our CP research and insight is accurate and impactful for their businesses.

The Market Research Consultant has an analytic and data-centric mindset, is confident consulting and sparring with clients as well as identifying and engaging new business.

Ideally, the The Market Research Consultant has experience from similar tasks in the past either from an agency or industry side.

The Market Research Consultant will become a trusted partner to our clients and inspiring member of our Nordic GfK team, helping to develop further client relationships across Denmark and Sweden.

We don't expect the Market Research Consultant to know it all the first day. Instead, they will be a team player and keen to understand our clients.

You’re good at:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients – some on your own and some as part of a team

  • Improving sales - new biz development and growth of existing accounts

  • Managing solutions with diverse teams for better research insights (external & internal)

  • Delivering outstanding client consultancy and consultative story telling with relevant insights

  • Identifying client requirements or trends to inform future solution creation

  • Being a team player, working with and supporting other consultants to provide the identified solutions and presentations to clients

You can bring:

  • A competent level of engagement and dynamics, pushing things forward and looking beyond the horizon.

  • A strong sales and client focus and can easily integrate into our Nordic team.

  • An analytical mindset, you can understand and connect diverse information.

  • Excellent skills with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with databases is preferred.

  • Ideally 2+ years experience in research, marketing, sales or consulting preferred within the FMCG sector is advantageous.

  • Fluent Danish & professional English language skills
