Job Description
Key Activities
Ability to contribute in all phases of the product lifecycle.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work independently and must be self-driven.
Contribute to software life cycle strategies.
Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.
Looking after all the infrastructure hosted in KHI DC and AWS including but not limited to;
Troubleshooting hardware/tools/applications/service level issues
Hardware upgrade
OS upgrades and patch management
Application deployments
Firewall administration
Monitoring
Backups and restorations
Database administration; support, backups and restorations – MySQL, MSSQL, Document DBs
Web server administration – Apache, Tomcat, NGINX, IIS
Managing internal and external DNS hosting.
Coordinate with CDN for any issue, update/addition of new rules, ensure timely synch and purging of data to CDN as per the committed SLA.
Management, Support and Administration of 3rd party hosted applications – Atlassian JIRA
User account management and server administration on both LDAP and Active Directory
Application and OS patch management to ensure information security compliance.
