Job Description

We have one goal: To support our customers in strengthening their market position.
In continuous consumer research, we collect and analyse the purchasing behaviour of consumers within the FMCG market. This gives us important information about which purchasing decisions consumers make and how behaviour changes over time. In this way, the consumer panel explains how and when markets and brands change. For them we make predictions for tomorrow so that they can make the right decisions today. Through our data analysis, we filter out and structure the relevant information, we ensure that our customers from trade and industry recognize the right signals that are for them in the flood of data and thus support e.g. marketing strategies.


The (Junior) Project Manager (m/f/d) - Market Research sits within our Project Execution Team in our Consumer Panel department and is responsible for research design, project proposal as well as ad hoc data analysis and reporting for our Nordic clients. The Project Manager is able to take a large amount of data, structure it according to it each case, and built up a relevant storyline for the client in collaboration with the responsible consultants for each client. Reporting to our Director Project Execution Team based in Germany the Project Manager will have an autonomous approach to their work but also benefit from close collaboration with consulting, commercial and operational colleagues across the Nordic region.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the role may vary depending on the candidate scope but ideally to include:

  • Define adequate analyses design
  • Structuring data and build up a relevant storyline
  • Responsible for providing all types of insight deliveries to clients
  • Build solutions colleges and clients can benefit from
  • Constantly improving our data and add process quality
  • Provides input for designing statistical analyses and setting up efficient processes
  • If applicable: is responsible for project management tasks
  • Proactive and independent problem solving (finds solutions for business problems), not just execution of tasks!

Key Activities
 

Research Design & Proposal Development

  • Create and adapt adequate research design
  • Provides input for designing statistical analyses and setting up efficient processes

Analysis and reporting

  • Create in-depth client studies for reporting purposes or detailed customer requests
  • Analyse data and trends in data using various tools in order to generate insights for the client
  • Develop presentation charts and client reports with corresponding insights which reply the client’s questions; utilization of fact-based-consultancy
  • Promote automation processes and develops efficient ways to create client deliverables such as excel tables, PPT slides and internal programmes you will learn to use

Client Management

  • To some extent have client interaction and act as an expert in the analysis we make for them
  • Being in charge of delivering monthly/quarterly/annual reports to clients

Requirements
 

  • Reading and understanding either Danish or Swedish
  • English language skills - B2 min.
  • An advantage with skills in Excel and PPT
  • The motivation to take a large amount of data, structure it and make a universe for many kinds of clients
  • Eager to learn our internal data analysis programmes
  • Ideally able to work in our Copenhagen office. Otherwise work from our Stockholm office as an alternative

I løbende forbrugerundersøgelser indsamler og analyserer vi forbrugernes købsadfærd inden for FMCG-markedet. Dette giver os vigtig information om, hvilke købsbeslutninger forbrugerne træffer, og hvordan adfærd ændrer sig over tid. På den måde identificerer forbrugerpanelet, hvordan og hvornår markeder og brands ændrer sig. For kunderne laver vi morgendagens forudsigelser, så de kan træffe de rigtige beslutninger i dag.

(Junior) Projektlederen (m/k/d) for Market Research sidder i vores Project Execution Team i vores Consumer Panel afdeling og er ansvarlig for analysedesign, projektforslag samt ad hoc dataanalyse og rapportering for vores nordiske kunder. Projektlederen er i stand til at tage en stor mængde data, strukturere den efter det hver case og opbygge en relevant storyline for kunden i samarbejde med de ansvarlige konsulenter for hver kunde. Ved at rapportere til vores Director Project Execution Team baseret i Tyskland vil projektlederen have en selvstændig tilgang til deres arbejde, men også drage fordel af et tæt samarbejde med konsulent-, kommercielle og operationelle kolleger på tværs af Norden.

Formålet med rollen kan variere afhængigt af kandidatens faglige baggrund, men ideelt set omfatte:

Research Design

  • Definere passende analysedesign
  • Strukturere data og opbygge en relevant storyline
  • Ansvarlig for at levere alle typer indsigtsleverancer til kunder
  • Konstant forbedring af vores data og proceskvalitet
  • Give input til design af statistiske analyser og opsætning af effektive processer
  • Hvis relevant: er ansvarlig for projektledelsesopgaver
  • Proaktiv og selvstændig problemløsning (finder løsninger på forretningsproblemer), ikke kun udførelse af opgaver!

Analyse og rapportering

  • Udarbejde dybdegående kundeundersøgelser til rapporteringsformål eller detaljerede kundeønsker
  • Analysere data og trends i data ved hjælp af forskellige værktøjer med henblik på at generere indsigt til kunden
  • Udvikle præsentationsdiagrammer og klientrapporter med tilsvarende indsigt, som besvarer kundens spørgsmål; udnyttelse af faktabaseret rådgivning
  • Fremme automatiseringsprocesser og udvikle effektive måder til at skabe kundeleverancer såsom excel-tabeller, PPT-dias og interne programmer, du vil lære at bruge

Kundestyring

  • Til en vis grad have klientinteraktion og fungere som ekspert i den analyse, vi laver for dem
  • At stå for levering af månedlige/kvartalsvise/årlige rapporter til kunder

Krav

  • At læse og forstå enten dansk eller svensk
  • Engelsk sprogkundskaber - B2 min.
  • En fordel med kompetencer i Excel og PPT
  • Motivationen til at tage en stor mængde data, strukturere den og lave et univers til mange forskellige kunder
  • Klar på at lære vores interne dataanalyseprogrammer
  • Ideelt set i stand til at arbejde på vores kontor i København. Ellers arbejde fra vores Stockholm-kontor som et alternativ
