Job Description
The CPO / CTO Controlling department supports the management in planning, managing and controlling the business development for the IT / Technology and Product Development departments.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be the first point of contact for financial issues and questions of the senior management responsible for software development.
You will:
Department-specific month-end and year-end closing issues across multiple international companies, e.g. building accruals, transfer-price charging and impairment tests of self-constructed software
Global project- and cost controlling including reporting, preparing and monitoring of business cases and preparation of the yearly budget and interim forecasts
Project Controlling of entire GfK group which includes central management, approval process and monthly reporting & consolidation. All activities are in close collaboration with portfolio management.
Servicing and development of a multidimensional reporting database based on MS Power BI
Report to Finance Director
You have:
Completed university studies in economics with a focus on finance and controlling
Relevant professional experience of min. 5 years in the area of controlling: Management Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting - as a Finance Business Partner or as a Finance Analyst
Very good knowledge of MS-Office with advanced skills in Excel (VBA macros, Power Query) and ideally Power BI
Knowledge of SAP/CO, Knowledge of BI on HANA would be an advantage
Hands-on mentality and the ability to cope with agile environments
Fluent in written and spoken English
