Job Description

Reporting to our VP Brand, Events & Content Marketing based in Nuremberg, the Europe Digital Marketing Manager holds a key role within our Europe Regional Marketing team. The Europe Digital Marketing Manager leads & manages the execution of our local digital campaigns, manages all digital channels and all oversees all aspects of digital marketing in the region. Working in close collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders the Europe Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing tactics supporting key areas of our business as well as for the local implementation of global digital campaigns. An enthusiast digital native, the successful postholder will support topics such as ABM, SEM, digital advertising and campaigns, performance & analytics, and lead flow as well as marketing automation workflows and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute against regional and global digital strategies 

  • Develop and promote a best-in-class digital strategy framework to enable an alignment of digital services across the Europe Region

  • Drive all kinds of digital initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, local events, PR/content marketing, etc.

  • Oversee local/regional websites/landing pages/microsites, manage creation and maintenance

  • Plan, manage and execute digital campaigns across different channels to drive attendance at local market events across the region

  • Work with Marketing Business Partners to build out targeted/segmentation lists for digital campaign using our CRM and marketing automation system

  • Collaborate with other European stakeholders to plan and execute campaigns and customer journeys to improve sales activation

  • Play an active role in relevant communities and amongst interested influencers

  • Become a key influencer in the way digital aspects of our regional marketing campaigns are planned and delivered

  • Ensure sufficient training and best practice is in place for our commercial staff to build their individual digital footprint and drive brand awareness/share of voice for GfK

  • Provide on-going advice on the optimization of content (both written and visual) for our digital channels

  • Using a digital KPI’s framework, ensure performance of our regional digital activities are tracked for ROI measurement

  • Ensure first class customer service to all digital marketing related queries: fast response times, accurate & appropriate information with a consistent approach

Requirements

  • Good experience of full-mix marketing, in particular managing and executing digital elements of international campaigns

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Digital Marketing professional

  • Prior experience in B2B business is a must, ideally in the of Tech & Data or Consumer Industry

  • Marketing / Communications (or equivalent) university degree

  • Strong expertise in Social Media: LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram

  • Outstanding web Content Management skills (e.g. preferred HubSpot but also similar platforms like WordPress, Drupal, AEM or others)

  • Expert skills and hands-on experience with Marketing Automation software (e.g. preferred HubSpot but also similar tools like Adobe campaign, Marketo or others)

  • Experience or good understanding of SEA and SEO a plus

  • Strong project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders

  • Open minded, flexible and willing to incorporate other people’s opinions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to sell ideas well through creative & innovative presentations,

  • Ability to work in an international, transforming, and complex matrix organization

  • Proficient English language skills (verbal and writing)
