Job Description
The Media Measurement Data QC Operator is part of the MM Hub “Currency Operations” team and works on GfK’s TV and Radio audience measurement (TAM/RAM) – ratings data production monitoring and reporting for multiple countries. He or she is responsible for the 1st level data quality and systems monitoring, including 24/7 shifts coverage. MM Hub Operator works also in close cooperation with the local country operations and escalates issues to the global technical support (2nd level) and engineering (3rd level) teams.
First level monitoring support for the media measurement data production, including work in 24/7 shifts
Daily monitoring of production procedures, e.g. correlation, matching, data processing stages, etc.
Daily data quality checks (e.g. ratings per channel), data query and reporting
Sound sampling servers (TV and Radio) operations and technical monitoring
Support the engineers with the platform servers technical monitoring
Act as the Hub first line contact for the local country MM teams
Develop expertise in the local media channels situation and their broadcast behavior
Support ad-hoc reporting and extracting relevant data from the production database
Work closely with Hub and global technical support and engineering teams
Assume responsibility for documentation of data monitoring procedures and practices
Support optimizations of Hub monitoring and quality control processes
Support ad-hoc reporting and data extraction from the production databases
Minimum of 1 year related work experience (technical monitoring, process monitoring, data management)
University degree or comparable education / experience
Experience with data and process monitoring, data quality management
Good IT skills and general Windows/Linux administration knowledge
Understanding of data query tools (e.g. SQL, SPSS, R)
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
Sound knowledge in the field of web technologies
Advanced analytical skills and data details attitude
Ability to analyze technical issues and convey technical information effectively
