Seeking a freelancer, Corporate Brand Manager (Contractor) to undertake on a day-rate contract for up to 1 year
Day-rate tbc base on experience
The Corporate Brand Manager (Contractor) will be instrumental in helping to define the next phase of the GfK brand by both building brand equity as well as focusing on creating and executing strategies that positively impact the perception of our brand. The successful post holder will take existing brand vision and update it to better synch with our future vision, raise GfK's masterbrand and develop brand guidelines across a variety of media to enable improved corporate brand identity.
The Corporate Brand Manager (Contractor) is a key strategic role within our Marcomms business reporting directly to the Global Marketing Center of Excellence VP.
Responsibilities:
Shape and effectively activate GfK’s new brand vision and mission internally & externally
Develop state-of-art brand guidelines and easy to use templates based on new brand strategy in different fields of applications (e.g. social media, PPT, video, website, etc.) and keep them up-to-date
Manage brand integrity: and keep all brand related internal platforms up-to-date (incl. image library, DAM tool, etc.)
Provide Brand training & coaching through regular trainings & info-sessions to ensure coherent and consistent global brand presence
Day-to-day brand checks/sign-offs conducting regular review sessions of distributed materials across the company to further improve guidelines and their application
Brand budget management support, e.g. manage all elements of brand budget working closely with the Global Brand VP
Measure and steer key brand KPIs and brand recognition among multiple audiences/segments, reporting to senior management
Act as the central brand consultant supporting product launches, new product design, ads, social media and other forms of marketing materials to maintaining a consistent brand image
Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders internally including senior leadership team, effectively manage creative agencies and external suppliers
Your skills set:
Bachelor's in the field of marketing, MSc a plus
B2B brand management experience 5+ years
Team player, assertive, you have excellent communication skills and you are very adaptable
Organization and cross-functional coordination of projects have no secrets for you, including budget management
Curious, diplomatic and creative, you are a driving force in your team and know how to bring new ideas
Taking on challenges doesn’t scare you
You are fluent in English and are comfortable in an international environment and know how to navigate complex matrix organizations
Experience working in fast pace environment
Some international travel required
