Job Description

Communication & Marketing Manager

You will work on a new pilot project within market research in the Danish FMCG (grocery) market, where GfK will connect consumers (Via loyalty cards or Credit cards) to retailers purchase databases.

Your role in the project will be to strengthen our panel management and support the team with focus on panel recruitment and panel communication. You will be joining our small panel management team in the Nordics within a large market research organisation at GfK. You will have a very wide range of tasks, so no days are the same.
 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage communication to our respondents. Writing newsletters, emails, SMS messages etc, and updating/improving our website.
  • Manage recruitment procedures. Finding new ways to recruit respondents to our panels, including finding new ways to communicate with them. Managing contact with external recruitment partners & maintaining our existing recruitment activities.
  • To be part of our panel support team, answering requests & supporting respondents.

Who we are looking for:

  • Is a person who likes to be an added value to the team, and likes to take responsibility of tasks, who is hands-on, and manages tasks, targets, and objectives by him-/herself.
  • Is confident with being in direct contact with consumers by email & phone.
  • Is agile and able to adapt to new ways of working. Learning new methods & tools to solve a wide range of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Work proficiency level in Danish. A plus would be knowledge of Swedish language.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Acquire knowledge of GfK specific tools like Atlas, aTRACKtive. Specific trainings will be organized for you. Knowledge of panel management tools, databases and analysis tools are a benefit.

Advantages (Not required, but nice to have):

  • Knowledge of website programming (HTML) used for emails and our website.
  • Knowledge of social media usage such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.
  • Knowledge of advertising tools such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok etc.
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe, Canva, Figma etc. to create visuals for communication.

GfK´s headquarter is in Nürnberg, Germany, our service sections are spread all over the world.   We are a global organisation.  Official language is English. We take for granted that you can express yourself both in spoken and written language. Getting in touch with colleagues in expert centers in Romania, Germany, Poland, and other European countries does not scare you.

The employment is a Danish contract, with 36 working hours a week.

Our office is in Copenhagen, Ørestad. Easy to travel to by train, also from for example Malmö or Lund, with a very good connection over the bridge.
