The Global Mаrket Intelligence (MI) Operations Data Enrichment and Global Master Data Governance (GMG) teams are a global team which focus on data quality and ensures homogenous data & reporting. The team also takes care of the implementation of new standard/automated processes as well as supervising existing standard processes globally for the Production value chain or managing the global code plans of the Product Groups in scope of our MI Operations. It consists of specialists in different areas and is based in different countries. The daily business contains support and consultancy for all regions and countries. Furthermore, the team collaborates with development and product departments to improve processes with other teams in global operations for projects on new/existing panels or new global initiatives and standardizations.
Purpose of the Role
As Team Manager in Global Operations you are responsible to ensure all relevant team tasks are handled in time (according to our SLAs), with high quality to ensure an overall smooth production.
You are setting and reviewing the individual targets of all employees in your organization, in line with the overall global operations strategy and close alignment of the Value Chain leads
You are regularly reviewing the performance of the employees and support them in improving their skills through different measures (e.g. adequate training, providing opportunities, job rotation etc.)
As a Team Manager in Global Operations you will have the following key accountabilities:
Set and review individual targets based on our common and global SLAs
Make regular reviews of the team and individual performance (based on existing KPIs)
Leverage team motivation and manage any conflicts if such occur
Ensuring that the team has the right skills and qualifications to fulfil its tasks efficiently and professionally.
Highlight process improvements based on your experience
Actively drive improvements to current processes by looking for efficiency and cost optimization within Global Operations
Manage the recruitment process for new team members if necessary
Foster the network between the teams in different value chains and locations.

Now that you know what a Team Manager in Global Operations does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?
At least 2 years previous experience on a managerial role with span of control min 15 employees, with proven track record of successful performance and team leadership results
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, esp. Excel
Basic SQL knowledge
Excellent level of written and spoken English
Relevant University degree
Visionary and strategic thinker, able to develop, break down and execute a strategy
Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines by always having our compliance and quality standards in mind
Actively coping with change and drives change in his/her area of responsibility
Service oriented with strong communication skills, being able to maintain relationships with different partners, to balance contradictory needs and to create win-win situations
Cross-functional, collaborative and supportive person who is willing to take on new challenges
Able to make decisions effectively
