Job Description

Als Media Manager - Client Solutions Consultant (m/f/d) im Bereich CP/MM/NQ sind Sie für Steuerung von Projekten (Projektmanagement) sowie die Betreuung und Beratung interner / externer Stakeholder verantwortlich. Im Einzelnen umfasst Ihr Aufgabengebiet:

  • Eigenständiges Projektmanagement mit klarem Fokus auf on-time / on-quality Delivery:
    • Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern (MM HUB) bei der Umsetzung operativer Projekte
    • Bereitstellung von Informationen (verständlich und umfassend), die für eine Durchführung der Analysen erforderlich sind
    • Überwachung des Fortschritts von Projekten
    • Durchführung und Organisation von Meetings zur Ergebnisbesprechung
  • Eigenverantwortliche Erstellung von Präsentationen: Definition der Struktur der Präsentation, Überwachung des Fortschritts der Vorbereitung (durchgeführt von HUB-Teams oder Werkstudenten), Unterstützung bei der Erstellung der Präsentation und verantwortliche Analyse inkl. Ableitungen von Schlussfolgerungen / Empfehlungen (95% fertige Präsentation)
  • Regelmäßiger Austausch und Zusammenarbeit mit Sales Teams und Product Ownern, um gemeinsam Ziele für Kunden zu erreichen
  • Ansprechpartner für interne + externe Kunden im Falle projektspezifischer, analytischer Fragen
  • Analytische Unterstützung bei Kundenpräsentationen (persönlich oder per Video Call)

Folgende Voraussetzungen bringen Sie mit:

  • fundierte Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Bereich Media und Social-Media
  • hohe Affinität zu Social Media und digitalen Medien
  • ausgeprägtes analytisches Verständnis mit der Fähigkeit, Zusammenhänge zu erkennen / aufzudecken und Schlussfolgerungen / Empfehlungen zu treffen 
  • sehr gute Kenntnisse in R oder Python
  • Sicherheit im Umgang mit den gängigen MS-Office Anwendungen
  • hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit und hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein
  • Fähigkeit, effektiv mit dem Team zusammenzuarbeiten, aber bei Bedarf auch selbstständig zu arbeiten
  • sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, Fähigkeit zur reibungslosen Kommunikation in einem englischen Geschäftsumfeld

The Media Manager - Client Solutions Consultant sits within our Project Execution - (PET) Integrated Media Solutions team. The objective of the PET team is to become a highly efficient state of the art execution team. We will establish and guarantee a standardized execution process which services all GfK digital solution countries. We will ensure that our deliveries are errorless, in time and on high quality. The PET Team will improve our solutions together with P+I in terms of efficiency and content  The PET Team is responsible to deliver all client projects across all countries, ensuring we have proper resource planning in place. Delivery has to be first time right and to satisfy our client in terms of timing and quality. The PET team will ensure that process optimization is efficiently carried out, including the data input. Strong products and a smooth production process are key for the success of our department. The PET Team is also responsible to support our sales teams and ensure sales team can free up more time to consulting our clients The main goal of the PET team is to act as analytic focused partner with I-Solutions project by managing the project kick-off , production processes with the Media Measurement (MM) HUB and communication between Sales / Product / Marketing Science / External Clients and final delivery of the project

The major tasks, duties, and responsibilities that commonly define the PET Media Manager - Client Solutions Consultant are shown below:

Ensuring that set deadlines are met -> ON-TIME and ON-QUALITY DELIVERY

  • Working with MM HUB and making sure that all input material is provided in comprehensible and comprehensive way
  • Monitoring of the progress of I-Solutions projects executed by MM HUB by scheduling regular calls and meetings
  • Writing well-organized reports, meeting minutes and protocols
  • Making presentations: defining the structure of the presentation, monitoring the progress of the preparation (executed by HUB teams or working students), supporting the creation of the presentation and providing recommendations (95% ready presentation)
  • Development of reporting templates
  • Networking with technical product owners (Sensic or P&I)
  • Working with commercial teams and product owners to achieve objectives for clients
  • Ensuring fast and timely replies or responses to customers, followers, or clients’ queries and comments based on analytic questions
  • Support during client presentations (in-person or Video Call)

Requirements for this position:

  • High analytical skills required: analytical skills are important to understand the results / outcome of a study. These skills are essential to be able to answer questions coming from commercial teams / external clients etc..
  • Advanced skills in relevant (statistical) programs like SPSS, R or Python
  • Expert in MS Office esp. Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interpersonal and advanced communication skills
  • Particular attention to details
  • Ability to cope with pressure
  • Ability to work with effectively with the team, but also work independently when needed
  • Time management skills
  • Strong research skills
  • A media manager must be news savvy so as to be aware of important updates, and also keep track of information on products or services
  • Previous media experience (media background), in-depth understanding of media KPIs
