Customers could apply for a reimbursement of up to 100 € after purchasing a fridge or freezer labelled A++. The overall Cold market exhibited double-digit growth between September and October, +16% (value) +12% (volume) compared to an average of 5% growth prior to the launch of the program. Year-end sales were even in excess of +20%. A clear shift towards A++ appliances was demonstrated, with their share tripling in value in both Sept-Oct (30%) and Nov-Dec (34%) periods respectively.
