Which areas are looking for most employees?
In Germany we are currently looking for people for the following areas: market research in Panel and Custom Research, IT and Finance.
As an applicant with previous experience, do I need to have experience as a manager?
That depends on the position you’re interested in. In all cases you would be supported with the appropriate induction and targeted training when you take on your management role.
Do you provide support if I need to move to Nuremberg?
We will refund your furniture removal costs. We will also help you find somewhere to live by either paying the fees for an estate agent or for accommodation in an apartment for up to four weeks.
How can I join the GfK Group after I finish university?
You can join us as a Junior Consultant or Junior Specialist with on-the-job training in our operating market research divisions (Panel or Custom Research) or in our internal services departments. You will learn about our business and about our clients through experienced consultants and specialists who will be your mentors during the induction period.
What are the duties of an Assistant in the GfK Group?
As an Assistant you will be supporting one of our teams in their client relationship management services or the implementation of market research studies or client contracts both nationally and internationally. You will be responsible for organizing and coordinating surveys, charts, sending out client reports and processing client queries.
What are the criteria for joining as an Assistant?
If you wish to apply for an Assistant position you need to have business training and sometimes also technical/IT training or experience and good PC skills. A sound knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is very useful for positions in our international divisions.
Are there casual jobs as interviewers and whom would I need to contact?
We regularly offer secondary jobs as (telephone) interviewers. These activities particularly suit housewives, mothers, students and youthful senior citizens, who would like to earn something on a freelance or casual job basis.
