How do I apply to you?

If you are seeking a permanent position or professional training and are consequently applying to for an advertised job, please only use our online application form.

If you would like to apply for an internship, position as working student or doctorate position, please also only use our online application form.

To download the application form without any problems, simply ensure that the popup blocker on your Internet browser is disabled.

Why does the GfK Group prefer online applications?

To ensure that the application process is managed as successfully as possible for you as an applicant and for us as a company, transparency regarding vacancies is absolutely essential for both parties. To be able to guarantee this transparency, we only work with applications that we receive via our online form.

The benefits of an online application are obvious both for you and us:

  • There is no need for you to buy expensive folders for your application documentation and you save on postage
  • We can process your application far more rapidly (no delays from sending it by post, no time wasted on submitting it)
  • You will receive automatic confirmation as soon as we receive your application

And we take online applications just as seriously as traditional application folders!

What is the maximum size for files that can be sent as attachments with the online form?

For technical reasons, each file that you upload cannot be larger than 2 MB. In total you should not attach more than ten files.

When I apply do I have to decide on a specific position?

Yes. When you apply, you should decide on a specific position. If your profile does not exactly match the profile for the specific position, we will still carefully check your application against all the other vacant positions.

Will my application be treated as confidential?

Naturally, we will treat your application details as confidential.

If you have particular questions about current vacancies the Personnel Officer or contact person in Human Resources Management will be delighted to hear from you. For detailed information on the content of the job, we will be happy to put you in touch with the line manager for the respective specialist department.

How does the selection process work?

In-depth recruitment interviews are held with the specialist department and a Personnel Officer. In some cases we also use the assessment center to make the decision, however this is notified to you in advance in the invitation letter.

What are the criteria for a position as Junior Consultant in Panel or Custom Research?

In our operating divisions, applicants with a marketing or market research oriented degree in business administration, economics or social sciences and with initial practical experience in qualitative or quantitative market research are our top candidates. However we are also interested in people who have studied other subjects such as statistics, psychology and IT.

How important is a good degree and practical experience?

Naturally we are delighted to receive applications from outstanding graduates. However, when we shortlist the applications, it is always the overall picture that is decisive. Practical experience which relates to our individual business divisions is seen as a plus point.
